  • Orsi Fehér

    Orsi Fehér is the co-founder of PsyCare Austria. Orsi has been working in harm reduction and drug policy reform for the past ten years with NGOs around the World. Throughout her career, she has amassed a wealth of first-hand experience supporting people through challenging drugs-related experiences, and coordinating the logistical facets of service provision in challenging legal environments.

    Orsi has a degree in economics and a master's degree in communication science that she earned researching the psychedelic stigma in the former Eastern Bloc and its consequences in academia. She has given several talks, workshops and presentations on behalf of PsyCare at various international festivals and conferences.

    Orsi's main interest currently is safer use and mental health awareness in nightlife settings. She is working on developing educational events with the Vienna Club Commission and the UK Psychedelic Society.

  • Carolina Czizek

    Carolina Czizek is a board member and is leading the PsyCare Academy. She has been involved with PsyCare Austria since its foundation.

    She grew up bilingual (Spanish & German) in Vienna and received a BSc in International Business Administration from WU Wien, specializing in behavioral-oriented management and public & non-profit management. Subsequently, she completed a BSc in Psychology at the University of Vienna. Currently, she is concluding her MSc in Cognitive Science, where she primarily focused on doing research on altered states of consciousness, psychoactive substances and their therapeutic applications.

    Carolina has undertaken a Psychological First Aid course from Johns Hopkins University and has been actively serving as a tripsitter at festivals since 2019. Since 2022, she has been co-leading the PsyCare Team at Waking Life Festival in Portugal. She has conducted workshops on Harm Reduction and psychological first aid at festival sites and upon request, alongside her colleague Orsi. Music festivals feel like a second home to her, and her fascination with the scientific and psychological aspects of altered states of consciousness has persisted for over 10 years.
