Safer Spaces for Integration
Besides real-time crisis intervention, we offer after-care and integration in Vienna, Graz and online.
So-called "Integration" is an essential part of every psychedelic journey. Psychedelic substances have had a long tradition of serving as powerful catalysts for personal growth and well-being. Be it scientific research, modern therapeutic practices or shamanic rituals—the integration of the psychedelic experience is considered essential. Integration means taking a closer look at your thoughts and feelings during such an experience and integrating them into your "normal" everyday life. It doesn't matter whether the experience was positive or challenging—both can carry valuable insights. It involves the transition from abstract concepts to tangible actions.
Without integration, the psychedelic experience remains a potential catalyst. It can reveal new perspectives and unearth significant emotions or realizations about one's life, but it merely presents possibilities. While having a beautiful and therapeutic psychedelic experience is valuable, many individuals embark on this journey to effect lasting, meaningful change. In such cases, integration work is an indispensable part of the equation.

OUR OFFERINGS
Integration Circles
Integration circles help people to process their (challenging) drug experiences after the fact. During small group sessions, trained facilitators help participants re-visit the event and encourage them to take a closer look at their thoughts and emotions. Often, such experiences—particularly the difficult ones—carry meaningful insights, which can lead to a positive change of behavior.
Our integration circles in Vienna are held by our Co-Founder, Marlene Rupp.
Marlene is a counsellor and has been running Psychedelic Integration Circles since early 2018 in Vienna. Best practices from Psychedelic Therapy, Gestalt Therapy and bodywork inspire her approach to integration. She has co-founded several organizations, such as PsyCare Austria and the Psychedelic Society Vienna, and has served as a speaker at conferences, academic events, and for the media.

Integration circles in Graz are hosted by Carolina Subow, a fellow PsyCare member, who educates online about Psychology and Drugs since 2020 under her Alias "Linas Reise ins Rrogenland".
She co-founded the peer-led association "Consciousness Connects" that also organizes other events, for more information and event dates check out their Instagram:

We are also happy to help communities start up their own integration circles.
Integration 1-on-1
As each person’s psychedelic experience can be radically different, so too will be their integration process. Innumerable modalities and equally valid integration activities exist, and the follow-up integration work will vary based on your unique circumstances, your specific intention, who you are, and where you want to go in life. Integration, as a general definition, means “bringing parts together to make a whole”, and our peer-led process can assist you in doing just that in a relaxed environment with no taboos.
Peer-based Integration definition
DISCLAIMER! While peer-led integration can be a valuable source of support, it may not be a substitute for professional mental health care, especially in cases where individuals have experienced trauma or injury during their psychedelic experiences. In such cases, seeking the guidance of trained therapists or counsellors with expertise in psychedelic therapy is advisable.
